HOW IT WORKS

Give new life to a garment or textile that you love, mail it to me and I’ll add some screen printing!

After purchase, you will be emailed a ‘return’ label to mail me a garment(s) to be custom printed! I do have to do this step manually so it will not show up in your inbox instantly. For a free mailer you can use a taped up paper grocery bag. Please mail asap, include your order number in the package, and any requests for print location! The design can be printed more than once on your garment. If you don’t have something specific in mind, I am happy to surprise you and use my creative judgement to decorate your piece!

I will print and mail them back asap! Can take up to 3 weeks after it’s received at the studio

Measure your garment to make sure the design will fit. The print will work best in an area needs to be without seams, stitching, buttons, studs, or anything but just fabric. The thickness of any of these features will affect the print. see photos of printed seams to see what I mean! Email me to check in if you’re unsure. I can print over hoodie pockets, or off the bottom of cropped shirts, just know it may affect the design printing completely solid.

-Garments that work well: button downs, hoodies, crewnecks, tshirts, dresses, skirts

-Natural fabric is best: cotton, linen, silk, can be 100% or a blend.

-Polyester can be a gamble with the process of heat curing ink. I don’t want melt your shirt! If you have any questions please email me at info@solsticehandmade.com and send photos. Synthetic fabrics are prone to color and texture changing with the heat cure process.

-make sure it’s clean! Only because- oil build up in the fabric will cause discoloration when the ink is heat set

*Please understand there is the small chance that the print won’t turn out perfectly, or that the fabric discolors during heat curing. If this happens, I will send you photos and we can make a plan, a refund will of course be available. We have the option of dyeing your item to hide the discoloration, however our dyes only work on natural fibers. With this in mind, please don’t send anything that you will be heartbroken if it is imperfectly printed, and please reach out if you are unsure about your garment choice* info@solsticehandmade.com
