What is WNC BirdFest?

WNC BirdFest is an annual FREE Bird Festival held in Western North Carolina and put on by Balsam Mountain Trust to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day. This year the theme of the festival is “Shared Spaces- Creating Bird-Friendly Cities and Communities” focusing on the many ways that we can help birds where we live. At WNC BirdFest, you can plan on enjoying free educational programming like bird walks and presentations, nature-themed music, art, vendors, local conservation organizations and some amazing free-to-enter raffles.
