Join Solstice Handmade for an evening of stitching and socializing. We will learn the basics of embroidery, providing demonstrations of 3 stitches, and help while you practice them by stitching a printed pattern we designed. We will stitch a pair of Carolina Parakeets, extinct as of 1939, and talk about how this beautiful bird disappeared while we sew. You'll leave with a partially completed embroidery, everything you need to know to finish, and a new creative addiction. All supplies included.
