with MSU Broad’s ArtLab

Do you miss your sewing circle? Join the Broad Art Lab and Solstice Handmade for an online embroidery workshop. Stitch is a pattern of “The Lost Sunflower” helianthus praetermissus, an extinct species of sunflower native to New Mexico, unseen since 1851. This workshop is fit for both beginners and sewing pros. Zoom instruction will walk you through each step and culminate with sharing your progress with the group. Cost of registration ($55) covers instruction and all materials including a printed sampler designed by the instructor. This workshop is led by Michigan-based artist and teacher Dayna Walton. Registration deadline for this workshop is Aug. 31 to ensure that all participants receive their supplies by mail prior to the event.
